I recently enjoyed a week-long stay at Coqueiral, a serene oasis tucked away but conveniently close to vibrant bars and eateries. Upon settling in, I quickly learned that breakfast here is a highlight, featuring a range of local favorites and a delectable eggs-cooked-to-order setup that's truly worth getting up for. The ambiance of the hotel's dining area complements the culinary experience nicely. It's a calming space that's perfect for savoring a leisurely meal before heading out to explore the nearby beaches. The owner, Mr Alex, is dedicated and provides thoughtful recommendations for dining and activities, showcasing genuine hospitality—even if he could occasionally prepare for early arrivals. While my initial check-in was delayed, I quickly found my rhythm in this cozy spot. With just a two-minute walk to Candolim beach and a host of nearby restaurants like Azura and Electric Cats, Coqueiral proved to be a well-positioned retreat for a seafood enthusiast like me.
